lol they brought out a 1m and lotus evora. i would've rather seen a gallardo performante. the winner and second place didn't surprise me. also wanna give a shout out to Autotechnica for watching the ferrari lose to the nissan

You're not the only one,i personally never really liked the car, and now watching it lose to the sls,i really don't like it. I was in san francisco over the weekend just walking and I had one drive by me in white. The exhaust was silent and the car looks much smaller in person.

personally the gt3 and the sls are the best looking cars, the ferrari is gorgeous too but im not a nissan fan atall it may be a fast and all but.... idk it doesnt carry the status of my forementioned cars.
Personally, the R8 and the 458 are my favorite.

+1, I love to see a Ferrari get spanked BY a car costing about a quarter of the price. I totally expected the GTR to win, BUT did not expect the ZO-6 to do so poorly given what I've seen the "Ranger" do with stock ZO-6s on Youtube. All I can say is this, different drivers with different launches would have made the first 5 a totally different result. IN fairness to the Ferrari, it sure does look like it was catching that GTR at the end.
Props to the GTR!!! (Oh and the M1 did NOT do as well as expected. I was expecting it to slay a modded C32 and it simply doesnt. )

no way it would, it's a tuned n54 engine that puts down 335 horses. a stock c32 or c55 would be right with it in a 0-60 run IMO.

Like above ^^^^ , how about an E63 (5.5 TT with the P30) or a P31 C63 Coupe?? The SLS did not represent very well IMHO.
Great post and thanks for sharing!! NOTE that the distance, time and speed between the first 7 cars was NOT that much. It really started to separate at the Ford Mustang in BOTH speed and time. What does this show me?? That exotic/super cars are NOT always that exotic in drag races. Even a 75 K ZO6 hung with cars costing double, triple and quadruple or more. A ZR-1 would have certainly been above 130 MPH and prolly would beat the GTR. You can tell by the launch that the GTR had a great "digg."
I also thought the "Stang should have done better than a 12.4 at 115??? Tough launch??? Tells me its prolly closer to 400 HP than 440 or more.

and BMW lies too!!! Its more like 30-40 HP more and dynos have shown that repeatedly that they are stronger than the 335 HP they advertise.........

in 1/4, it's all about launching and driver...Rolling start is a different story..
I thought 911 would do better as well.. The outcome of the race was pretty much expected..

Jerry's was an LSD, I don't know the ratio. His car was a white 2008 or 2009 I believe. It was modded and was very quick. With me driving and him in the passenger seat, we ran a 12.6 at about 113 IIRC. He was running all day long at 12.5 at 115 alone. It was a strong running car and from 0-80 would give his M5 fits.
