C32 ESP Visit Workshop
I have been working on my car for the past two months trying to fix the ESP problem. On a hard first to second shift I will get the message ESP visit workshop and the car will go into limp mode. Sometimes I can cycle the key and it will reset but if it trips the cell I clear code P0120 and I can drive it again. I replaced the pedal assembly but that was not it. I took it to Mercedes this week and at first they thought it was the steering angle sensor but now they have ruled that out. They believe it to be the throttle actuator which in Canada is a 1800.00 part. Star came up with code P2032-008 M16/6r1. They will not guarantee this will fix the problem which is why I'm stalling on buying the part. I have searched and read many threads on this subject with some people replacing the throttle body multiple times under warranty. Has anybody had the Throttle Body replaced and fixed this problem solid. I have been checking the wiring harness by hand and its seems in good condition. The car has 80,000 kms on it. I remember FrankW having a similar problem.
I have a stage 2 tune waiting from Jerrry to install as soon as I fix this problem. This forum has been very helpful in the ownership of this car. Thanks.

Yeah, I had a similar problem that turned out to be my Throttle body. I ended up getting it rebuilt and now it works great.
Whatever you do, don't have the dealer work on it, just find a trustworthy independent MB mechanic.

Thanks for the feedback. I have found the part on Parts.com for 1000.00us which is much better than 1800.00. I will consider getting it rebuilt as well.

That is a sweet price on Ebay. I am going to look into that part no. some more. They do list it for the E55 which I believe runs the same throttle body as our car. Part no. 113-141-0125 vs 112-141-0325 for the C32.

I purchased the throttle body off eBay. For that price I will take the chance on used. I found a picture FrankW (Thanks Frank!

Please update your throttle replacement after installed. I had the same problem as you early this year. The independent shop mechanic cleaned the valves and tightened the wires behind the throttle and cleared the codes. The ESP did not came back but he could not guarantee it would be a permanent fix.

ESP visit workshop update
I installed my used throttle body from Renntech last night. Car started right away with no cel. It was raining so I couldn't get a full throttle shift but I fell confident the problem is fixed. Thanks for the helpful tips.
