Custom cut pulley.
I have been tossing around the idea of having my stock s/c pulley milled down since trying to acquire a C3P is almost impossible and the ones offered by eurocharged are still on pre order.
I originally started out wanting a co worker of my dad's to see if they could make a pulley like ours from stock metal.. ( this was almost a year ago).I couldnt get enough feed back from the few sights I posted on so I never really pursued it any further.
Well I had to go to Austria last week for work and figured that was a good time to have my stock s/c pulley CNC machined down to 68mm. Turned out GORGEOUS! guy did a great job! I took some comparison pics of my spare stock pulley and the modded pulley.
I changed the pulley out last night and ran the car at idle for about 1/2 hour to check the belt and see if any residue was showing up from belt wear. All checked out so I drove it back home, 250 mile one way trip, car ran great! No belt residue or slippage. I can feel a definite difference in the mid range to high end torque, car pulls harder and accelerates faster. Very impressed! Now I just need to follow it up with a tune!
One thing I did notice: My power steering pump used to whine, really bad when car was cold, but whine consistent even when warm. though when warm was not as noticeable. After changing the s/c pulley the whine is no longer there
Any ideas?

Nice, I have been pondering this thought for such a long time. There have been others that had success doing this also. Do you mind me asking how much it was to get it done?

mine was no charge cause my dad works with guy and has helped him with his cars before. But I could find out what he would have charged had that not been the case.

loung14, that is good news! Thanks for the advice about watching the structural integrity when milling it down.
cDirtyTwo, thats what I was wondering, it has stopped now. Level is good. But I will change it.. Thanks.

As far as what I have gained I am not sure, seat of the pants dyno says its a decent gain. I have noticed around town that I can easily get the tires to break loose from a 10-15mph roll. So it has definitely added some power.
