If anyone can assist me, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm Looking for ECU wiring diagrams for the 3.2k AMG motor. My current plan is to figure out a way to swap in a 3.2K motor in to my ML320. I've spoke with my service advisor and he claims that the ECU's for My 00ML and an the ECU for the 3.2K engine are the same. If thats true..... then I dont need to worry about the supercharger clutch engagement. (The supercharger cluch would only become a problem if I splice my OEM 3.2 NA harness to fit to the 3.2K motor.) Of course if my S/A was correct then all I would need would be a simple reflash to make my ecu believe it was in a 3.2K. So my current plan is to match pinouts from one ecu to the other and see what wires will need to be tapped/rearranged if any.

PS I realize that I could go na 5.4 and have an "ml55", but anyone that has ever had the pleasure of owning an ML will agree that their all nightmares. So, I might as-well stick with mine.

I was always under the impression that the ecufor the 3.2k was specific to the 32 AMG. There's a member that did the swap in his clk320. I'll see if I can find the thread for you.

I think the ECU is the same, however Rob at Needswings would be a good resource. He knows the 3.2 world backward and forward.

I know little about the ML drivetrain but you need to make sure that your transmission is the right model and can communicate correctly with the ECU. And also you need to take care of the read diff as far as the final driver ratio is concerned. Save your money and abandon this project.

As of a few days ago, this member's car was still not running (but looked promising).
