Outside Temperature Gauge Reset

Disconnected outdoor temperature sensor to make it easier to replace one of the fog lights.

After everything was reconnected and finished I noticed that the outdoor temperature gauge was displaying -40.

Anyone know how to reset this without killing every other setting in the car?

You should try plugging it in again and make sure it has a good connection, might be a dirty connector or not plugged in all the way.

I think I've disconnected this and reconnected it with no issue, and -40 is probably the default zero setting for no voltage. Make sure it's plugged in right and clean.

From memory if it is not plugged in correct it reads -40 or +65 (or something, this happened to me).

Thanks, guys. Looks like I was a bit hasty and it needed a little time to correct itself. No action was required.
