I hear it. It sounds a little different than mine. Sounds like you could use a valve adjustment. I think these cars use shims. Mine sounds like a diesel. I might try to get to the shop today.

I found a indie shop nd he told me to bring it in. When I got there he his racks where full. I told him I'd bring it back and have yet to do so.

I just had my valve cover gaskets done and I've noticed that same ticking, exhaust leak sound. I'm going to dealer on Monday I let you know what they tell me.

I just got mine back from the shop. 650 dollars and they don't know what it is. Next time I'll bring it to a AMG service center.

Did you replace your vacuum lines when changing you valve cover gaskets? Could also very like be a sc bearing. When I had my 32 I replaced my bad one with a guy out west the retrofits them with military grade bearings.

seems like your #6 cylinders lobe moved. For some idiotic reason the cams and lobs arent a single piece design

No I didn't. I used the old lines. They where in good cond. I just replaced the sc bearing. I did it myself and there's def not a prob with it.

I was thinking this also. It's sad when a indie shop with a merc specialist can't figure out what's wrong but I can. I'm not completely sure but I'm like 80% sure that that's the prob.
