In my experience most european cars are extremely well put together with high quality interior's. I have found most Australian, Japanese and American cars to be nowhere near as refined. I am used to seeing rough plastic edges on a lot of models where plastic tags have not been removed and the panels do not fit together perfectly. I especially like the plastic that looks like leather.

generally speaking, yeah... but some jap cars are pretty nice on the eyes, comfortable and pretty high-tech (like acuras, but they have a whole other set of issues like engine, electrical, etc.). though we had an 04 TL when it came out with the new body style, and that thing was gorgeous, great blue accent lights, pretty gauges, touch screen nav, all that... but apparently it doesn't age very well lol
Lexus (an overpriced "luxurious" but comfortable toyota) are nice to drive and sit in as well, and are way nicer than european brands like vw, but i'd still never get either! guess it depends what you like and what you wanna pay to play....
