Rebuilding the 722.6 Transmission
Has anyone ever rebuilt the Transmission? I am thinking about totally rebuilding it. The dealer tried to tell me that the Transmission, Torque Converter and the Transmission Control Module are all broken. Has anyone here ever rebuilt the 722.6 transmissions, using one of the kits? any insight. 6700.00 to do the Transmission is insane. Thats what the local Stealership tried to rape me for.

Renntech says their upgrade is good for 800hp, not sure if that includes the "broken" parts in question... http://www.renntechmercedes.com/www/node/210
