I've had the chance to take my C on a few road trips for work and I absolutely love it, the car eats miles like nobody's biz. It does trip me out how the sucker drinks the petrol though... Don't you guys think this car should have a 20 gallon tank?

Yes, AMG upgraded the car with a supercharger without changing the gas tank, which should be the same as the one on c320. I guess they are lazy.... However I can care less, I guess I am too much in love with the car.

MB says one of the reasons they are abandoning the SC V6 in favor of the V8 is poor fuel consumption. Do they expect that the V8 will get better mileage than the SC V6?

I doubt it... the fuel consumption doesn't bother me, It's only annoying on long trips where you have to hop off the interstate frequently...
