Finally ran my car at the dragstrip
I finally got a chance to run my 02' C32 last friday night at Colonial Beach dragway which is a 1/8th mile. My best run of night was a 8.08 e.t. at 88.51 mph, with a 1.83 60ft. I'm very happy with the times it put up, the slowest out of six runs was a 8.12. I figure with headers, and exhuast I could maybe dip in the high 7.90's. I highly recommend drag radials to any one running at the dragstrip to see the full potential of their car. The mods done to my car are eurocharged s/c pulley, ecu tune, tcu tune, k&n filters, diy code3 intake, removed intake resonators, magnacore wires, ngk 1 step colder plugs, needswings i/c bypass kit, Kleemann super sport cams, 225/45r17 bfg drag radials, and a ZT-2 wideband coupled with a dashdaq. I think I might call eurocharged to get my ecu retuned because my afr's seem to be in the mid to high 12's not sure if thats flirting with desaster, but keep in mind it was cooler when I ran it.

Awesome, glad to hear the 225's worked for ya, now I'm not so worried that they won't be wide enough! Great time
, what was your launch RPM and how was the track prep?

My launch rpm was around 1,200 just enough to get the s/c engaged, and as far track prep I would say it was pretty good for a test an tune night, but the tires hooked so well that I don't there to finicky on the track prep. You'll defiantly be pleased with a set of drag radials it takes all the guess work out of trying to get your car to hook.
As far as the Kleemann cams I would say they made a noticeable difference in the mid to upper range power. But I've got a retune scheduled for friday with eurocharged to get my afr numbers down so I might feel a more power increase out of the cams and maybe even a better e.t.
.
I'll keep you'll updated.

I got my ecu retuned by eurocharged, and they seemed to have done an excellent job on getting my afr readings down. They seem to be great peaple to work with. So after the retune I decided to take it back to the strip. I ran it about six times an my e.t.'s ranged from 8.05 to 8.00 but my last run before leaving I managed to get a 7.99.0
. I think it was from leaving at a little higher rpm than I had been. Very pleased with the numbers considering the car has all stock exhaust system which might be the next thing, but still not sure about that yet. I,ll post a picture of my time slip.

Awesome mo! Congrats on meeting your goal
I couldn't launch at more than 1000 RPM's without wheelspin on street radials when I went...and there were cars doing 9 seconds on slicks
Track prep was pretty good but I gotta get me some Hoosiers soon! A 7.99 1/8th should be good for 12.3ish at the 1/4, Excellent time and thanks for sharing!

Very good runs. I ran 8.00 flat with the 12.42 1/4 mile. Interesting to see what the cams will do for you the secod 1/8 mile. Are you runing EC TCU tune by any chance and do you have any DashDaq graphs you can share?

Thanks, I'm curious myself on what my 1/4 mile times will be, I should be able to in the next coulpe of weeks try a 1/4 mile track in maryland at buddscreek. As fare as my Tcu tune it was done by eurocharged, I did have to send back once because I think the ECU and TCU were butting heads on shift rpms but no problems since. I just cleared all of my logs from having so many to start fresh after my retune as soon as I take it back out I'll get some more data logs to post, my afr numbers now are around 11.8 to 12.2.
