Can 10.5 be fit.
Barring opinions on stretch, why I would want to do this, or anything like that:
If running a 255 or a 245 on a 10.5 wheel, has anyone had any experience running rears in this size on our cars?
If you don't have experience with a 10.5", whats the highest offset anyone has run without clearance issues? Want to see how much further inwards from my setup I can go, to avoid going out as much as possible.
Much appreciated,
Pat

A 9.5 rim is marginal for a 255, why push a 10.5 rim?

I ran the math w/ wheel/tire set up as the rough base. 18x9.5 ET33 (most peoples run 35-37) + 265/35/18 w/ minor some rolling.
10.5" will require something ET22-25 with a 235/40/18 :x Enough fender rolling + camber, Im pretty sure you can get 245s in there, but 235s will def work :x
PS - i like where your head's at![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
PS - check out phister's thread and see how his 10" rears fit and use that to create your offsets for 10.5s!

haha I've been through each of those steps, great minds think alike. Even with Phister's setup, the math I did put me at the same inner clearance as an 18x9.5 et35, and a mm more poke than Phister's setup, which would mean a decent amount of fender work, especially with a 255.. Can't remember what exact offset I came up with, but I decided to opt out for the 9.5, same wheel. Regardless, I'm excited about the new setup I'm gonna have coming soon
