I have the Linguatronic Lever but i have never managed to get it to work.
The manual tells me to pull it for a few seconds and it should beep for my command, no beep nothing.
Do i have to activate anything? I've had the car for 4 years now and only now i decided to try it.
The comand 2.0 is functioning fine, is there anything on the comand i need to do?
Any directions/help would be appreciated..

AFAIK there isn't a way to trouble-shoot the system without a STAR machine. When I installed mine it was just plug-and-play. The dealer reset a fault code but it worked fine without it being cleared.

Do you know for a fact that there is a box in the back? It should be on the left side ahead of the spare tire well.
