I bought a 2002 C32 AMG yesterday with 130K. The previous owner maintained it himself but I do not have a list of the services he has done yet, working on asking him about maintenance he has done. I took it to get a pre purchase inspection and they only came back with recommending a transmission fluid flush, and brake fluid. The other stuff was minor and not really time sensitive. I've heard that flushing tranny fluid on a high mileage car can cause problems, so not really sure what to do. Anyone have any experience with something similar or have any advice? new to MBs in general
Congrats!!
personally I would pass on the trans flush as long as you aren't having issues with its shifting... Get as much maintenance info as you can from the PO.
Enjoy your AMG!!

I haven't tried the shifting yet, just driven like it is auto. Not even really sure how to use it haha my old car was manual so I don't have any experience with the auto-shifting trans yet

I personally would drop the tramission pan, change the filter, magnet and gasket and top up the fluid. This does not touch any of the fluid in the pipes or cooler etc. I would also not recommend a full flush.
Just spoke with previous owner. He got it from a dealership used with 60k 5 years ago, so he has put on 70 since. He has never had to do any maintenance to it since it apparently never gave him any problems. He changed the oil and all the usual stuff as well as put in spark plugs about 35k ago. So that is all I know. Not sure if that is really good since nothing HAS happened, or bad because EVERYTHING might go wrong like...tomorrow...

Hehe, yeah you never know with used cars, but 150K isn't THAT much, and it's a well built car, so you'll probably be fine.
