FS CLK Grille Kit
For Sale: 3 slat CLK Grille kit off my 05 C55 I traded in this week. Comes with the brace, grille and hood latch. These are 100% genuine Mercedes parts, not repo junk. The only thing you will need to complete the conversion is the flat badge for the the hood.

2005 C55
Anyone?
No one is interested? This is probably the easiest and best looking mod you can do to the C55. If anyone is interested, please throw out an offer before it his ebay by the end of the week.

Hi guys, where can I buy the whole grill kit, ebay and all those places only have the grill and not the whole kit. Where did you get yours from and how much do they go for? Thanks.

I meant to respond to this earlier - there's not much to the 'kit'. You pick a grille (eBay is popular, unless you want OE), pick a hood badge (eBay or one of the site sponsors, JBSpeed has a good selection, also formymercedes.com) then you need the grille support and hood latch. I'd pick up the latter two from the dealer or another source of OE parts. I'm not sure you can get those aftermarket at any rate.
Here's a link to fitting everything:

There are some part numbers on page 3, I think post 61.
Incidentally, I was the one who bought this grille 'kit' from the original poster in this thread last year! Have been enjoying it ever since. I've kept my original C55 grille though. I think come spring I will try to satin black wrap everything chrome on my car, including the original grille. And then maybe just swap the grilles as the mood suits me....

Thanks Saaboteur, I already got the flat hood badge at the dealer, was R360, about 36 USD in your money, not bad, so it looks like I will have to get the rest separately then.

Hah, I don't use USD on a regular basis (unless we're traveling down there), but CAD - Canadian dollars, LOL!
That said, the Canadian and US dollars are roughly on par at the moment...but don't get me started about price disparity on similar goods between the countries....like books, car parts, tires or even simple stuff like groceries and ibuprofen.
