Are you sure that you saw 02 of this cars?
It was a AMG STUDIO order back in 2003.(Only year produced) and this car was only available by request...please confirm about this information with pictures.
I never heard about a CL203 AMG in USA. I knew that it was a silver one in the beach of MARBELLA in Spain with California plates but it was of an american person that live in Spain.
I heard about a SAPRISSA guy that bought the whole AMG bodykit!

MBUSA claims 44 R63s in the US, and 330 worldwide according to nbv8. 250 of which were sold in Germany. That means 36 were sold in not Germany and not the US. Not quite as rare as the CL203 C32 but still rare overall.
Are AMGs in general pretty hard to see in Peru? I remember when I visited, I hardly saw any Benzes in general.

I asked the AMG PL many times..they refused to tell me the production number because it was an AMG Studio order.
They never commented about the number of C32 AMG Sportcoupe produced. This car was only produced in 2003 based in a C180K.
I believe that they commented about the C Class Sportcoupe in the Diesel AMG Version.. (C30 CDI AMG). (Less than 500)

Please send me the link were the AMG Chief editor said that the C32 AMG Sportcoupe production was under 500.(im a member)

Probably it was a different administrator.
I think he made a mistake about the production numbers because in other forums related to AMG lots of people told me that only a few were made.
The C30 AMG Coupe was the one made under 500.

You are correct that the C 32 AMG Sport Coupe was available by custom order in Europe and that less than 500 units of this vehicle were built.

The new administrator refuse to confirm that information and also to tell us the exact production number.
The great fact about that this car was only made by request its that the only 03 cars that ive seen or found in the web are different.
My interior is black leather, no sunroof and 2 tailpipes.
The Romain guy is the same interior with sunroof and one tail pipe.
The Marbella one have the alcantara interior and an awesome steering wheel.
And 2 tailpipes.
The last one have the MKB performance package, my car is Eurocharged and the Romanian is stock.

If you really need to know, make a thread. PM'ing doesn't go as far as putting it all out there. And yeah, the internet isn't a great source when it comes to finding owners. Three cars you found of people talking about their cars online, doesn't make it the final tally.

I made a thread about my car and asked about the production numbers. They told me that they were not allowed to tell me the answer by a AMG private internal policy.
I contacted the following forums:

No one in those forums had seen the C32 AMG SC in the streets.
The main problem here is that the AMG guys dont want to tell us the exact production numbers of rare cars..W202 C43, 190E Hammer (Ringo Starr model), SL73 AMG, etc..

yes thats exactly what i was talking about!
The C30 CDI AMG is the model of Sportcoupe that 500 units were made. In Spain you easily could find one for sale in the classifieds.
