Correct, you can tune out heaps of detonation if you add enough fuel and retard the timing. However you might make 350whp with 7psi and make 330whp with 10psi, no detonation in either case but the lower boost can allow way more timing and ideal AFR's producing more power. This is common in the turbo world where people up the boost on stock turbo's thinking more boost will always mean more power, and it does but only up to a certain point. Then it is all downhill and usually pieces of engine everywhere.

How small of a pulley?
Hello, new guy here.
I have a totally stock 2004 C32 AMG, that I just purchased last week.
My plans are to do a resonator removal and the SL55 intake mod.
How much smaller can I go on my pulley (safely)?
