When he upgraded to the CLS. I've always loved the SLK55, it's such an awesome little setup

Viper is correct .

It's really a fun car. Smooth power all the way and the sound with of V8 with the top down is a huge plus. Hope the car finds a nice new owner.

If I can't get a decent price, I just may keep it..

I like SLKs, they're just not comfortable for me to be in since they're so small. Which is why I bought the C.

91RS,
Surprisingly, slk has plenty of room leg room and trunk space

MBfanatic,
This is a tough questions. 7 spd is nicer for fuel mileage and a bit more fun to drive. However, 1st gear is very short and sort of useless. Shifting is a bit quicker (I think) than regular 5 sped but I'm sure the 7 spd isn't strong as the 5 spd.

What is the rpm at 60 on the 7spd? I think my C55 was at about 1700-1800.

Slightly above 1800. 6th and 7th gears are pretty close as well.

They are pretty similar. In the city, I think it's a bit worse but on highway its slightly better. I usually get 23-25mpg on hwy.

It might be smaller, but it weighs just as much because of the hard top.
