C55 AMG
Its a sad day. I am selling my 2006 C55 AMG

I waited for too long in this situation to not offer it up. I need the money so I hope I can get a good deal!

I am asking $17,495 for it. It has 131XXX miles on it, with an aftermarket warranty until 12/22/2012 or 137K miles.

If anyone is interested please PM me.

Thanks,

Adam

Of course its negotiable! Plus I have a Brabus ECU/TCU, The custom Engine Cover, painted wheels, and the exhaust done on it. So I thought that would add slightly to the value.

The only way aftermarket parts or modding can add value is if the customer wants it to, which seems reasonable. I guess if someone is planning on doing those mods it might be cheaper to just buy it that way for an additional price, but if not then you're SOL. That's why so many people part their cars out, trying to get money for the mods.

Good luck with the sale nonetheless. Hopefully it finds a good home and goes another 100k+ miles with some TLC.

Unfortunately mods often decrease the value of the car. You need a special buyer specifically after that stuff to get some of that money back. I was lucky my mods didn't make a difference on the trade in.

Here is my old Craigslist ad when I sold my C36. Like others have said.. photobucket is your friend.

Also grab that last line I have below the pictures. That broadens your search base. They may be looking for some other car and not know that this is even available.

And my C36 sold for $6k with 189k miles on it.

Regardless as to what KBB says the value of the car is. It's really all about supply and demand. If you have the time it'll sell for a price that will make you happy.

Oh and the dealer wanted to give me 1k for the trade in value towards my C55. So that's a bit of a example of worth in the right peoples eyes.

GLWS, BUT that tune is prolly a "deduction." The rest are additions!! Lots of miles on that for a 2006!! Again, GLWS
