The W210 would make a great spare car if any C55 owners are looking for an additional car. But to move from a C55 to a W210 is backwards, IMO.

For many, I would tend to agree with you. But if you've got a growing family or need to haul around customers (both issues for me), the larger body was a bit more comfortable.
