2003 C32 AMG
Brake wear sensor replacement DIY

Hi Guys,

Brake wear error been coming on alot lately. I ordered the sensors and would like to know how I go about replacing them. Has anyone done this diy. Please share your experience and tips.

2002 c32 AMG 2012 c250 Coupe
Front sensor located on right side, rear sensor located on right side. Jack up car, remove wheel, pull sensor out of brake pad and remove from sensor plug. Install new in reverse to removing but may I suggest you replace brake pads as the sensor is telling you pads are low.

Thanks for the info. Front disc and pads were replaced not too long ago and still look good. The error comes up even when not braking and when i clear it it will pop up again before i even brake.

Ok so sensor is worn just replace with new and you should be good to go..!! Good luck..!!

Or jumper the connector with a paperclip if you're frugal.
