Seat back heater repair DIY
But I haven't seen any for the seat back so heres what I did:
Found my seat heater on drivers side didn't work. Did an ohm test at the connector from the seat control and found a break in continuity in the seat back heater. Take the seat back off, 2 screws at the bottom and pull down careful not to break plastic clips at the top. Remove headrest by pulling up and out. Remove headrest motor by unplugging and popping left out of its mount. Remove clips and ties etc holding seat cover on to frame. Find loose connection with ohm meter, mine was where pigtail entered the heating pad. Solder connection and tape or shrink seal. Reassemble. Took about an hour and was a pain in the *** but free!
Apparently it won't let me upload the same picture to two different threads?? So see pic of disassembled seat in headrest motor repair diy.
