2003 C32 - Intercooler fuse keeps blowing

2003 C32 - Intercooler fuse keeps blowing
Hi all - first i want to thank the fantastic poster who wrote about how an intermittent power loss can be a bad intercooler OR the FUSE BLOWN #5 slot in the trunk fuse block for the intercooler on a 2003 C32.
For me it was a blown fuse and i didnt know that for 1 year!!!! wow i swapped the blown 7.5 fuse for a new one and it was like a rocket again.
So in the past 2 weeks after realizing this, i now have replaced the #5 slot fuse in the trunk for the intercooler 3 times as it keeps blowing.
has anyone else experienced this? do i put in a higher fuse? or do i replace the intercooler because it is going bad and causing the surge to blow the fuse?
a fuse is 1 buck, the new intercooler repair is much more so not sure what to do as i hear everyone with a C32 experiences a bad intercooler that needs to be replaced.
