Tune C55???

I am looking for a Tune for my C55.....Any good good brand, except Renntech which is too much for me. I heard people said it will be good for mileage and shifting after the tune, is it right? And also, will it be any harm for my car since my engine is already at 125000km now.

Thanks for your help, appreciate........

I would go with Eurocharged, but there are not much gains for our vehicle.

TCU tunes relate to the transmission control unit - so they play with shift quality and such.

So 0BD2 flash will not help for shifting then?

I am thinking to go with OE tuning........is it good?

I have zero experience with the tunes, unfortunately. But it seems just about everyone is happy with Eurocharged. I think I may go down that route myself. The fact that they have a Canadian branch is a big plus too.

Not to thread jack, but while we are on the subject - how does the tune work exactly? The end user sends in the ECUs, both for engine and trans? What kind of turnaround is expected out of the Canadian branch? And how does the hand held tuner work? Ay different than the other tunes?

Finally, you guys came out west last year, but I couldn't make the drive down from Edmonton to Calgary. Plans to do that again any time soon?

I am still waiting reply from OE tuning....seems like they are too busy to reply my pm! I want to get the handheld machine too....cuz I want to switch it back to OEM setting in winter. I can't wait, the point that I don't want to go for eurocharge, cuz they are charging too much without the handheld machine in Toronto and the guy is out of town for now. In the states, they charge only $300......in toronto, they charge around double the price which is not worth it. For that price, I rather go for OE tuning.........!

for the ecu, we can simply send you a remote tuning cable and use our new euroflash software. There is no need to send the ecu or purchase a handheld tuner.

http://www.eurocharged.com/documents...uctional-video

You can flash between stock and tuned whenever you want yourself without help from us! The software will also clear and diagnose check engine lights. Best of all......its FREE with tune purchase!!!

The TCU would need to be sent to the Houston location for processing.

They are planning another trip around canada late this summer.

no need to get the handheld, you can do the ecu with the euroflash software.

All you need to purchase is the performance (which comes with free cable and euroflash)

No need to wait bro..... Go with Eurocharged and you'll be very very happy. The tune will take mere minutes and can be done online. All you need is the cable and an internet connection. SUPER SIMPLE.
You're also getting a tune from Eurocharged so that's a plus in itself.
Trust me, I know! I have Eurocharged tune

I am happy with my Eurocharged tune as well!
I think their quotes were:
362hp/376tq stock ---> 389hp/402tq tuned
I assumed this was on a stock M113 5.4L, so expect a bit more with exhaust work...

At first, was going to try logiclab or OE tuning.....but they didn't reply my pm until today. So I ended up tune it with Mike Eurocharge in Toronto today. I found a bit different after tuning it. The shifting is a lot better and the power from 3000rpm to 5000rpm felt a lot faster, as what they said......it will pull harder and harder after few days. I already had K&N filters, res and secondary cat delete. DOn't know how much hp and tq on wheel now. Anyone had the same mod and dyno?

Also anyone try with TCU tune? Thanks

Thanks MIKE (eurocharge) for the awsome job

Good choice!!

I am thinking about doing TCU myself. I had the same mods as you did for a while (got Headers/modded airbox), the tune gives the exhaust note a bit of a bark as well. 3k-5k is definitely the range of which it picks up.

I want to install header too, but the labour will be a bit expensive. What did you do for airbox? After the tune, I hear the exhaust note quit often now. NICE!

Eurocharged is #1 and they are usually the most reasonably priced.... Anything else is a complete waste of time or money (I know I have tried most of them).

I have had 4 of my cars tuned by them ... Every one blew my expectations
