Wanna Go Fast: Chicago Half Mile
Is anyone from here going to the Wanna Go Fast half mile event this weekend? I'll be there Sunday running my C55, might go Saturday to check out JRCart's CLK black series Weistec monster as well.

Saturday is gonna be a big day for AMG's. I know Jake from Eurocharged is running Saturday and two of the fastest AMG's on this continent are running against each other.

Unfortunately JRCart and Ecampbell didnt run
JRCart did run his C63 Black (stage 3 Weistec) yesterday it hauled a##.
I was VERY pleased with my C55, highest MPH for the day was 136. Unfortunately there was not an accurate timing system so no times just top speeds. I beat up on a 335 and a 135
Highest speed from yesterday's event was AMS' GTR which attained a speed of 214 MPH at the half mile marker.......

I wished I made that event. Next time I,m bringing both my C43 and highly modded talon. A friend from the dsm forums coasted to 153mph because his throttle cable broke. His dsm would have done even better if the dam cable held up.

You did very well though with your 55Would've been nice to have another C class AMG there! Next time definitely. An Eagle Talon actually had broken the record on Sunday running 209 MPH... then the AMS guys found out and pulled out their Omega GTR and ran a 214
I appreciate the kind words! I was pleasantly surprised with my outcome. I have a video of a run with a Active Autowerke Supercharged M3.. I ran a 133 here.
