Was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I'm getting a metallic rattle noise every once in a while at idle when my car is in gear (D or R). Tends to disappear when in park or neutral. Whats really weird is it gets worse or alters sound when I turn the wheel to either side. Almost sounds like its a heat shield type noise. No sound whatsoever when accelerating or anything, but it's been bothering me forever. Only thing I know of that is bad on my car is my AC doesn't cool, but why would the AC compressor make a sound that gets worse when I turn the wheel. This has been gong on for a while and as far as I'm concerned performance is not affected at all.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I've been doing DIY fix's so I figured now would be a good time. Thanks in advance.
