SRS - How do you get the radio off?
I'm lovin my new C32, taming those roads like crazy.
I recently took it to get some nice new stuff put in, including an IVA-D900, JL 13w7, and a K-40...
The day after I got it installed, however, my SRS warning light comes on, and each time I start the car, it says there's a "Restraint System" failure, and I need to go to my dealer immediately. "1 Malfunction" and the red SRS light remain on for the duration of the drive.
I've started the car about 20 times since then, it's still there.
I did some research and it looks like a plug behind the radio affects the SRS system somehow, and that if I re-seat the plug it could fix this.
I know that there could be something else wrong, but it seems like too much of a coincidence...
So, here's what I need to know

1) How do I get the radio off, and where can I find this "SRS Plug"?
2) If I *do* take it in to my dealer, are they going to help me out, or laugh me away because I broke something when I got the car modified?
Thanks!

Mike
Unfortunately the SRS indicator lamp on the console (the small LED above the radio) can be plugged in right or wrong [there are two recepticles] , your installer got it in the wrong one. Common error.
Get it in the right one and you are good to go.
Ok...
Two things then:
1) How will I know for sure that I'm plugging it in the right one and that there's not really a problem that I'm turning OFF the warning for?
2) Would this cause the orange computer LCD to display SRS error too?
Mike
2) Yes, been there
