C32 Short Headers from topspeed-pro1-performance
Good time of the day to all!
Gents,
I had previously Eurocharged short headers but they cracked and later damaged by welding so they dont fit now.
I was looking for replacement and found following on the e-bay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-Ben...-/370582232719
or on their website
http://www.topspeedauto.com/index.ph...product_id=577
Decription is following:
MERCEDES BENZ W210 E320 V6 98-02 / W220 S350 & W230 SL350 WITH EARLY M112 ENGINE PERFORMANCE STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST HEADERS
Internal part number that they have is HEADER-MB-C32
I have called them directly and spoke with sales representative and he was not sure if they would fit on C32 AMG as it was not in description on hte e-bay. His suggestion was to check if C32 AMG (W203) and W210 E320 having the same part number for stock headers, then they would fit. I have tried to do so, but so far no success. I know that both cars have M112 Engine, but not sure for the placement.
Did anyone came across this headers or has any useful info. Would they fit on C32 AMG?
Your help is appreciated, as i live in Azerbaijan and returning headers will be not economically soundable if they dont fit.
Any other suggestions on reasonably priced short header are welcome.
Thank you in advance!
P.S. Found this while digging for part numbers search, MB Parts Online Catalog.

But i guess a little work around can make them fit. I spoke with one guy on Ebay who has done this.
What is the other options at reasonable price? All others are more than 1000 USD.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I feel that our headers are justifiably around a grand because of the craftsmanship, materials and overall fitment. I have purchased downpipes and turbo manifolds from Ebay for my DSMs when I was still on a college budget, but it's just something I wouldn't do on an AMG. These Ebay C32 headers are really popular here as of late.
If you are going the DIY route -which I fully understand the itch- I would have a respectable muffler shop ensure the gaps are properly bridged between these headers and your present exhaust system.
Tell us how it all goes!

I've been researching these too and found the 996 Porsche guys who've used them reported repeated cracking as they're not really t304 as claimed but really t299. It seems they're OK for mid pipes and cat backs and N/A applications but don't hold up for more than a year under extreme heat (FI) applications.

still thinking about adding these. They look remarkably like the Inconel ones here...
