Glycol contamination?? W203s were plagued with Valeo radiators that had defective crimps at the trans cooler within the radiator. I just did a W203 2003 C240 that developed the leak and the slip shift 2/3 was the common complaint. We caught the problem within a week of driving and was able to flush the trans and torque converter, change the radiator and clear up all the symptoms. The car is now fine.
I promptly checked my C55 parked next to the C240 and it had a Valeo radiator. It's an early build 2005 and somewhere along the build of the W203s they updated the radiator. But, in the interest of possible failure and not knowing when the updated radiator went into production, I changed it. eBay has OEM Behr German made Radiators with stated HD trans inner core for $132 shipped.
Bottom line:
Have the trans fluid checked for Glycol contamination. And ASAP. The more you drive, the more antifreeze contaminates the trans fluid turning it brown and then into a milkshake. Eventually ruining the trans.
