SRS
My SRS has come. Quite confident the system is fine, my wife drove the car, don't get me going. I researched, and cannot find a DIY. Any options? Or does anyone know a decent indy in the Phoenix area? (Bob, you out there?) Thanks, Mike.

You'll need a STAR diagnostic printout to find the root of the problem. After that, you'll know what part needs replacing.
Call a few indy's and see if any of them will give you a cheap (or possibly free) STAR scan.

Hey Mike, thats unfortunate to hear, hopefully nothing major..
If it goes out after 2minutes there is a non critical fault and the system will still be operative but codes should just be read and the system cleared, if the light remains on after 2minutes the system may be inopperative and should be repaired..
My guy I can refer you to is THE BEST!! Although he is specialized in VW/AUDI he is for sure able to clear the error codes. If they come back, then I'm sure he knows people at a Mercedes dealership in Phoenix, he has been around and working for a long time in the automotive industry.

Just give him a call and tell him what you would like him to do. I would just go over there to meet him, definitely worth while.
He is right of the 202..
Let me know how it went, I could also recommend Mercedes in Chandler, don't know anyone in person there but great service.
Keep me updated ok?
