C32 Driver side headlight auto level motor no power

C32 Driver side headlight auto level motor no power
2002 C32 Car has option 612 XENON HEADLIGHT
After the drivers side low beam burnt out, I changed it and noticed the internal assembly dislocated from the leveling motor arm ball. I reattached with a bit of contortion, but now just flops on the motor arm, like there is no power activating the motor to firm it up. Lights are on fine on both sides, and the passenger side light auto levels on startup, but nothing on the drivers side. What controls power to that motor? Any guidance and clues are appreciated.
