I was trying to resolve that jerking shift by replacing the converter lock up solenoid that was documented on the site. After putting it all back together, it doesn't go into gear. We made sure the shift linkage pin was in the plastic properly too. So before I tear it all back apart, I was wondering because when I jacked up the car the alarm went off whether or not that would have disabled the trans some how. I'm pretty sure it is back together proper hence wondering about the alarm business. The symptoms now are the RP drops slightly when you put it into revers or drive but it doesn't engage. Any suggestions would be appreciate since i'm now without a jerky transmission altogether.
