Thanks guys.
Yes a want a deep tone that dont disturb that many people.
a bad picture, i finally got the rockercovers painted.
the pic went very bad in colors and contrast.

So,,, what am i doing now then?
I ripped an old broken amplifier on an potensiometer and a couple of resistors and started fiddeling.
This is to lower the signal from airmeter to ECU.
In this way i ended up with 362ohm and lambdacorrection is oscillating between 0 to -5% with my injectors at 60psi in basepressure.
The vacum in inlet pulls it down about 7-9psi.
So with this setup my fuelcapacity is about 685hp at 90% dutycycle.
Dynosession booked to 25 April.
Best regards
Patrick

You know,, in Sweden were all rocketscientists
Kleemann does it the same way with an resistor equipped in the their setup.
This gives the std ECU a chance of working properly as it will let the airmeter flow more before the ECU receives an error and lights up the CEL.
And it WILL flow more, as the compressor sucks more air than the N/A engine(otherwise it wouldnīt be any boost )
To do it yourselves?
Cut the yellow/white wire up beneath the ECU in the box under the windscreen, this connects to terminal nr#5 on airmeter.
solder an potensiometer in serial with adjustmentarea of about 0-1000ohm
Then you can up the fuelpressure to get more capacity and lower the voltage to the ECU with the potensiometer to get normal voltage back to ecu again.
piece of cake.
and by the way,,,, dyno is NOT booked to 25th of april.
(I have to search for a new ecutuner that could get into the mercedes system.)
All of a sudden the price went almost twice as high when booking.
As we had speaked before i booked session the price was a way lower than what i received later.
But,, i heard that they produced nothing but holes in the pistons on mercedes engines, so unbooking that session wasnīt a hard decision *lol*

actually not.
But itīs an AGM battery yes
However, fired up the C55 today after a little delay:
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152170477989475
Aem F/IC-8 working just fine!
Sorry about the rotation,, turn your heads
No wideband connected yet into the AEM, will do that tomorrow.
The video is about 2-3minutes after first start, it went really nice and smooth.

Been out 'mapping' the fuel for a couple of hours this weekend, all seems to work just fine.
Had a couple of CELīs first when cruising at low rpms, low voltage o2 sensors, just added fuel = all fine.
But i had a more severe error, P0104, the airmeter even thou itīs 95mm in diam it wenīt through the roof.(over 4.8v)
I really donīt want to clamp the value in AEM box, so i reused my homemade potensiometer, success!! all good again.
My boostlevel is 10.3psi(25PSIA)
I did a couple of fullthrottleruns, adjusted the fuel so i got 11.2 in AFR(a bit rich, but saves engine, will lean it out later on to about 11.6-11.8)
I also retard the ignition 14degrees now at first, will up the ignition later on.
I first need to get low rpm at cruising perfect, then i go for power.
But first impressions then?
Well,, it makes power!!, that much i can say
But when testing yesterday the cops suddenly started to cruise in my neighbourhood so i decided to take it a bit easy on the neighbours
So i parked the car for the evening
I did manage it to run quite fine yesterday at cruise, the std ecuīs lambdacorrections corrected just a couple of percent up/down.
I must say this piggyback solution is the way to go if you want to take control yourself without having to go to the dyno everytime and spending big bucks for,,, almost nothing
First start was a bit,,, really little bit bad, it took almost 10seconds to start the engine, other than that,, no problems at all that i can blame the piggy for.
First start ofcourse it was a bit tough, i didnīt know where my 'map' was until it had started, so it ran a bit rich at first.
Now itīs smooth as silk(almost) thou
Iīm really impressed.

A picture during install, i have painted the unit black as later on with needswings it will look better.
I will paint the rockercovers black to, maybe today actually.
As for how i got hold of an lysholms: i didnīt buy it brand sponking new, itīs in 2nd hand.
This kit has been lying on a shelf for a lot of years.
there were parts missing so i got it cheap.
But i didnīt miss them at all, i get chills to my bones thinking of 7bar(what is it? 100psi?) fuelpressure with std pump and injectors.
Like itīs made to burn pistons...
Amazing well done

Maybe this weekend iīll post a video, i need to have a friend filming it.
And as is now i use the mobilephone for logging and viewing OBD2 info.
With that said you might understand iīm always doing everything myself on my car.
Impressions of todays little cruise,,, low load rpms running really sweet now, almost no differ from std at all, just a little bit when letting engine reduce cars speed, a little bit jerky at that point, but iīll map that in a couple of hours, just taking it easy not to disturb the neighbours.
Iīm roadmapping as you can see
Well,, i leaned the boosted area out a bit today, about 11.5 in AFR
and as a letter in the mailbox,, the torque came along like a storm.
Running third gear about 65-70mph and gently flooring it the tires ,,, well how do you write it to not sound cocky?
the tires are 'unhooking' so to speak
Itīs slowly becoming undriveable in lower gears *lol*

At this time the car runs so smoothly after just 2-3hrs of active mapping i will probably fix the jerk when reducing speed in just 10minutes,, just need to concentrate on that very problem for those 10 minutes
I have just set it away for getting the correct values in cruising and get soft and kind values for the engine in boost.
As it is at this point, the gearbox shifts exactly as it should with no issues at all, just like an std c55, very happy about that.
Today after work i will give the jerking some time, i will also reduce ignition a bit more below 3500rpm, just to make sure the pistons survive.
this because i got more boost than expected with flowed heads, headers etc etc, that means it has possibilites to make more power than i expected as it is an autorotor 2.2l compressor, not the 2 litre i thought it was.
Rgds.

Yes,, good things comes to those who waits
At this time itīs hard to capture any movie as i said before, iīm always alone during mapping sessions.
I get so koncentrated that i donīt get any fun to hang with.
So i spare my bad moments for myself
Anyway,, a question.
Any need for a wire diagram how to hook up the AEM piggy against Mercedes ecu?
It isnīt THAT fun to draw a diagram, so donīt say yes just to have a picture on the harddrive that you never will use for anything else than.... 'fapping'
If itīs a genuine interest i might draw one to help someone out.

No clue at all..
If we can take a wild guess?..
calculating effiancy of supercharger and boost upon earlier power.
I had about 430engine hp before(360+ at the wheels, actually 383hp but i donīt belive those numbers)
Add 1.7bar of absolute boost(25PSIA) you can calculate 430x1.7=731hp
BUT!!!! make that about 90 percent of that 300hp raise due to effiency of supercharger, that is 270.9hp.
430+270.9=700,9hp
Subtract from that the needed power to run the compressor ~60hp and you got 640hp left on flywheel.
And itīs needed about 70hp to run transmission, and we are left with about 570hp at rear wheels.
And to add more losses lets say about 550hp,,, but thatīs very very very roughly estimated.
But the buttdyno says,, 'somewhere in that area'.
Iīve got 285īs at rear and when flooring it on third gear it breaks loose at about 75-80Mph
So it produces power,, yes! but i can only guess at this time.
The company that dynoed my car last summer has at this point problems with both the police and economy so i wonīt go there to dyno it, not until everythings been sorted.
Rgds
and by the way!!!
been out mapping today,, jerk is gone!! i knew it
Took about those 10minutes i wrote earlier.
Rgds,,, again
