Just bought 2005 C55 AMG

What brand and model tires work good on a C55 AMG?

2005 C55

i just put a set of Michelin AS3's on mine and have been very happy with them so far. Only had one day of snow to drive them in but they handled it pretty well and still have less than 500 miles on them.

The Continental DW is the best bang for the buck IMO. The sidewall construction is also not too hard or too soft which makes for a good feel for most driving. Continental also offers a DWS model which is less of a performance tire. My GFs 335i has the DWS and they work well.

I recommend the DW.

I have stuck with Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Not the cheapest nor longest wearing but they are quiet and offer great grip.

I do not like Continentals, hard as a rock and don't last very long. Although, I would choose them over any Pirelli. I recommend Michelins. I'm running the Pilot Super Sport and love them.
