Control arm kits

Hi guys, I think its time for me to give the front suspension some attention because it has a knocking sound going over bumps and a brake shudder now I just want to know what you guys think of the control arm bush kits you get on ebay, its a 10 piece kit. Are they ok quality or do you think I must just get new bushes, press the old ones out and new ones in? I only use the car once on a weekend usually and it is not my dd.

eclectic assortment of cars
Lemfoerder is OE for the complete control arms, and I'd only use those. The WIS does reference replacing the bushings only, and if you go that route, then the OE manufacturer is Corteco. But that said, one of the front control arms has the ball joint integrated into it, so if you're replacing just the bushing, you don't get to replace the ball joint.

I'd avoid Uroparts as a brand, and I've had mixed luck with Meyle before too. The former was with some breather hoses which began to crack only a year after install, and the car was barely driven. The latter was with a fuel pump that cured a start problem only to apparently fail again shortly after, going with a slightly more expensive Pierburg unit cured it.

I bought Lemfoerder kit on the British ebay for my 190e and am very happy with it.
