Warped rims?
At the tires shop fitting new tires, I saw the tire press slip off the tire and hit the driver's side rim hard, then other employees came in to help him manhandle the tire onto the rim.
The guy in the tire shop called me in later during balancing to show me that my wheel was warped, I said that it could have happened just now... This wheel isn't curbed or hit like the passenger's side rim. He said it was an AMG rim, it couldn't have been bent.
I tell them to just finish the job and finish balancing that warped rim
Now I have much bigger and more wheel wights on the driver's side vs. passenger's side
Could the rim have been warped before and I just didn't notice it or would it be possible to bend the rim slightly while installing a tire.
- car seems to drive the same nowThanks

When it comes to balancing, most of the time it isn't the wheel that's out of balance, it's the tire. All of my wheels/tires have differing amounts of weights on them. I think you're ok, unless you can feel the vibes on the highway. And unless you're driving a black series, or 150k+ AMG, those rims are the same as any other; they're not forged.
But you were saying that the press hit the wheel - was this when they were dismounting the old tire? The bead breaker is usually pneumatically operated, and does require a bit of force to do what it does.
