05 C55 COMMAND UNIT NO POWER
HELLO EVERYONE...
My CU went dead a few days ago for the second time.
There is no power at all, fuses are good, CDC has power and ejects CDs...
1st time happened back in November last year, after 2 weeks it came back on and worked normal.
Any clue what may be wrong?
Is there a recall for this? I been searching and it seems to be a common issue for this CU.

Welcome to the club of unexplainable radio issues! I don't know the answer to yours but mine has done this three times with the amplifier. It doesn't work and then a week or so lately it randomly decides to come back on. All fuses are good.
I have researched this a lot and no one has an explanation...that is why you aren't getting any replies.

not worth getting into it it's expensive just have the dealer diag it. If it's the command try these guys out you should actually call them first before having it looked at as these guys know everything about the units and can probably help you out wort case their bench testing is like 20 bucks. They actually fixed my navi processor for like 200 and the unit normally costs like 1500
