i wouldnt be surprised if the firebird won. american cars have lots of hp...
and i no the C32 isnt exactly the fastest car on the planet...
but even if the firebird wins, who cars....speed isnt everything

C32 should win 
american's car are gradually slower than European Cars or Japanese cars after quarter miles...
because they are SOHC and their gearbox sucks.
ie: SVT Cobra (380 hp, 6 speed) but still slower than (300 hp) NSX or 911.

C32 will walk easy. Firebird's gear box sucks and you have to shift really (and really) well to pair with C32. Just kick too many asses on the way to SF from LA...got to love my C32!!!

I did encounter a Toyota 4 runner and a Mazda Millanian (that's how it spell?) were running at each other. They pass me from behind...so I join the little run. @100mph, the Mazda try to over take the 4 runner very slowly and I know she tried really really hard to pass due the the slow car @ front. She got into 4 runner's lane really close and 4 runner is pretty ****...oh, we...just like to show them the correct passing speed is...once the slow car pass and the front opens up....@110mph....I stepped on it and Zoom....pass both them in no time and guess what...both of them stop racing after I pass them. :P
The bottom line is our C32 really a nice Highspeed curiser!!
OH, I also saw a RED E39 M5 on the roadside just lift on the flat bed...I wish I had met some car like that on the trip.

i lost to a new Toyota V8 Jeep... Sequoia? (don't know how to spell)...
i didn't really go hard on the gas because i think, "hey, no way!"
but then i can't believe how fast it was... i think it is even faster than a 4.4 X5.....

one more sad thing in Canada... there is not much point getting a manual car here... half of the year goes wet with ice.
It is terrible every single day in winter if you have a manual shift car... coz the traffic jams everyday. we can't go fast in spring neither... not until late May and June We spend 2 hours on the road in the winter going to school, and another 2 hours back home. 1 hour to work and back... canadiens are just so wore off in the winter.
