I've never used them, but MarcusF (posts a lot on the C36/C43 forums, and see his excellent website here: http://www.marcusfitzhugh.com/CLK/DIY/ ) says they are good guys too.
shop estimated to do rebuild tranny $3600 or $950 for labor to put used tranny on it. You can you a website car-parts.com to look for used transmission. I found one for myself with 58k miles 90days warranty for $800.
there is couple more decent left. It's your call to do swap or rebuild.
I decided to save some money and do a swap. Every year I'm dropping about 2-3k to fix that car. But I love that car so much
and cant get rid off it...
