If you're beginning to notice oil drips on the ground, a burning oil smell or smoke from underneath the hood, a leaking valve cover gasket may be the culprit.

A common gasket to leak on Mercedes engines, the valve cover gasket is nothing to ignore, and will only get worse over time.

If the valve cover gaskets are leaking on your Mercedes-Benz M113, we have the solution with this Valve Cover Gasket Kit. This kit includes everything you need to replace both the left and right valve cover gaskets on your M113 V8.

This kit includes the following items:
One (1) Left Valve Cover Gasket
One (1) Right Valve Cover Gasket
One (1) 50ml tube of Genuine MB Sealant
Three (3) Crankcase Breather Hoses

*Price subject to change.

How common is this issue?

I've been to the dealer 3 times over the past few years with a leaky valve cover, each time they said they fixed it, charging $$$.

I took the top of my valve covers off twice within a year because the first time I used a sealant that was not up to par for the job.

Typically your rubber gaskets start leaking at about 30 - 40k miles.

ghiaguy,

These are OE replacement gaskets, not a product that was designed by ECS.

The kit that is branded Assembled by ECS includes Elring Valve Cover Gaskets, Meyle Breather Hoses and Mercedes-Benz Sealant.

The other kit, which is branded Genuine Mercedes-Benz includes all Genuine Mercedes-Benz parts, they are the same parts you would get from the dealership.

If there is anything else I can help you out with, please feel free to post or send a PM!
