Very good initial quality. Will update in time as it sits in the sun and accumulates hand grime. Double sided 3M tape to attach.

Currently have it sitting on top of the plain metal cap, just to see how it looks.

Does the 06 metal cap come off easily?

Did you just place it over existing cap? or replace it?

There is an old thread on this particular mod with instructions on how to pry/cut the old cap off and glue the new one on. Don't remember the OE poster's name.

The amg cap is smaller than the diameter of the shifter cap it's meant to sit inside of. I doubt it would look right if you removed it, but who knows. I did think it was installed with glue though tape would probably make it stick up too high.
