An update on the Springfield meet in VA. Decided to go check it out last night for a little bit. Arrived around 8:30 and only stayed for maybe 45 minutes since I had to get back home.
It happens at the Rolling Road commuter lot in Springfield, VA, 7909 Rolling Road. The turnout was HUGE. Unfortunately, when you have a turnout that large you also tend to attract some of the less mature crowd...however there were some pretty nice cars there. Seems like a fun place to go if you are looking for a race Talked to a nice guy with one of the new M5s, and another guy with an E36 4-door M3. There was a lot of American muscle, STI, Evos, Hondas, Trans Am, Camaro, Mustang, Corvettes, a gang of sport bikes rolled in, a few VW, some S4, S6 Audis, pretty big mix. I will say it was semi Fast-n-Furious-esque haha
By the time I left there had to have been at least 200 cars there and several people were still rolling in. I've heard about people doing stupid things at this meet and it doesn't surprise me with how many people were there, but it was fine last night. I'll definitely go another time.
Damn damn damn! lol sounds like I missed an awesome turn out! Really wish my car was working right. Maybe come next weekend I can get it up and moving. I rarely see an Euro cars there though. Generally a lot of JDM and American. There's a gang of Challenger guys who roll through, most of them are built by that shop in MD. Lot of Twin Turbo Setups. But regardless did you get to see any races Mulac?

5pm at Rockville Ale House. Park in the garage behind the Staples and the restaurant. We are going to go to the roof of the garage for some pics on the next meet. Hopefully we can get some nice photos up there.
Also looking forward to some cool winter shots with a little snow on the ground (but hopefully not so much that we can't drive in it lol)
Aaaand I just realized 11/22 is the MIR Track Rental Day...so we will all be there. Maybe we can just hit a place for dinner and some drinks afterwards in that case.

Bring the daily if you have to then, but at least you could meet all of us. I plan on doing another install day in October so you could bring the Benz to that. Last one we did a few weeks ago we had 5 C55's there. Should be a larger group of us there today as there are some other AMG'ers possibly attending.
