We are going to have a meet on 12/27/2014, Saturday after Xmas for whoever is in town. Eddie, Wes, and I are confirmed attending. We will do it in a different location this time in Fairfax, VA.
Wes has a C63 507 Edition, so for those of you who haven't seen one in person come check it out! It's a nice looking car. Hopefully some more of you can make it! Check our FB page as well for the event.

Hey guys we pushed the monthly meet back (February) this month by one week so it will be on March 7th but we will continue every last Saturday of the month and get back on track. The end of march meet is supposed to be a co-meet with some VW/Audi guys out of NOVA so that should definitely bring out a crowd. If you have any other car enthusiast friends bring them out to a meet. See you guys there!

I got dinner with the miss's in Georgetown but that's not till 9 pm, I figured I could stop by for an hour or 2 while she gets ready. Fingers crossed I can bring the SL out this time, car is running now for 2 weeks but the ABC pump, starter battery, clockspring went out, warranty covered the clockspring and ABC pump then pump came in, but didn't come with the 2 seals, then next day seals came in, but book time is about 8 hours to replace.
Then the stupid fuse for the starter battery went out. But its replaced now as well as new hydraulic fluid for the ABC. All that's left is a rodeo for the fluid to get settled in and a dyno to check the air/fuel ratio to make sure its safe to drive even at WOT until I can get a dyno tune on Monday/Tuesday
I posted the exhaust clip on the SL55/63/65 forum but its even louder in person and one of the exhaust cutouts wasn't plugged in fully when I took the clip but the cutout is fixed now.

What’s up Guys! Sorry I haven’t been able to make the meet in a while, I’m hoping I’ll have more time this summer. There are a few things that I wanted to throw out here to see if the regulars have interest:
First is the Euro Cheesesteak run in a few weeks. I’ve seen this come up for a few years now and keep saying I’m going to go but it never works out for one reason or another. In any case, I can't do 5/9 but I was actually planning to organize a cruise to Skyline drive on a weekend in June. The plan would be meet at the Kohl's cars and coffee down in Fairfax on Sunday morning (starts at 8:30 runs til about 10:30-11). Hang out for a bit and check out the cars and then cruise out west down 66 to hit Skyline and do a loop and come back. What do you think?

Hey how has it been going? Between work and family, life has been crazy. Actually just found out yesterday that my Dad and Stepmom will be staying at my house this coming week when she has her radiation so no dinner meet for me this month again.
My brother is coming up to stay for a few weeks in June, so a cruise will all depend on the timing. Definitely down for it some time this year though!

I am an avid car guy, living in Frederick, MD, nearing retirement, just bought a '10 CaymanS 6M, and am about to swap my trusty, quick, albeit somewhat cheesy, sleeper commuter ('09 Cobalt SS) for a real RWD V8 driver's car, hopefully a clean C55. Are there some nice local examples that I could get close to? Scouting the national market, too. I see the car and coffee locales noted...any of them more likely to have C55s?

If you want to see a few c55's come out to the dinner meet in may. Usually you won't find them at the local cars and coffees. You will most likely come across a few c63s maybe some other expensive amg's but majority of us c55 guys show up to the dinner meet.
