cbr600 see's amg tail lights
My friend has a 96 cbr600 that he is selling soon so he came over today and said he wanted to race. I said ok and we left. We went from a 25mph roll and he pulled about 3/4 of a car until I started to reel him in. I shut it down at around 125 and had a little over a car on him. He wanted to go again and the same thing was happening but a car came out so we stopped at about 100. We were about even at 100, I may have been a few feet ahead. Anyway, he thought he was gonna smoke me so I had to show him what the AMG had

AMG C43, 1999
I hate to burst your bubble, but it must have been one clapped out CBR 600. As you can see from the data below for the 1995 model it will toast your C32. Or at least any decently maintained bike will.

In truth, we would have preferred a more RR-type update with upside- down forks and maybe 15 pounds less pork to lug around. But we certainly wouldn't prefer to pay more than the manufacturer's suggested retail price of $7,299 (that's in US dollars). That's a $900 price increase in one year! But the good news for value shoppers -- which, as the dollar continues to drop against the yen, is just about all of us -- is that the new 1995 CBR600F3 will give us the best of both worlds: Race-winning speed and technology coupled with good ergonomics, a friendly riding position, and Honda's rock-solid reliability.
Specifications:
Manufacturer: Honda
Model: CBR600F3
Price: $7299
Engine: dohc, 16-valve, inline-Four
Bore x stroke: 65.0 x 45.2mm
Displacement: 599cc
Carburetion: (4) 36 mm Keihin
Transmission: 6-speed
Wheelbase: 55.3 in.
Seat height: 31.9 in.
Fuel capacity: 4.5 gal.
Claimed dry weight: 405.6 lbs.
Time to distance:
60ft 1.735 seconds
1/4 mile 11.317 @ 119 mph

speedybenz,
I have the renntech stage 1 but even with that I didn't expect to win when I went to race him. Maybe my friend cant drive well, I dont know but both races were very similar with me being the winner.
