i also love how they are incorporating the seats as seen in the other 55 and 55k models

does any one have an idea of a price range or if it was mentioned in the article those pictures were taken from?

and has anyone tried to find out if reservations can be taken already ?

Is it just me, or the front end look just the same as a C32? I don't see it as better, but just different.

im not quite sure if these pictures are going to translate into how it will really look. i have a few questions

1. where is the star grill ala the clk?
2. before they said the cluster was going to look like the clks also?
3. is it me or does the cluster look like an audi's?
4. take a look at the image with 3 pictures. the one on the left and the one on the right. wheres the shift knob in the picture on the left?

av2 - the lights are the clk lights, and there is supposed to be a giant star grill.

wow im in love. only thing im not liking too much is the audi/vw cluster. it works nice for them but mercedes should have sticked to their setup. Also, how sure is it that the quad exhaust is gonna make it to the US cars? like in the clk 55 amg, in europe they have quad but here we have dual. Is there any chance that could happen for our cars?

the CLK55 never had had a 4pipe-exthaust in germany. the new C55 will get LED back- and brake-lights. look at the E-class there we have also LED on the avantgarde-models and normal ones on the other (elegance and classic).

what i really like ist the new (e-class style) climate control, and the bigscreen DVD-navigation (incl. MP3) known form the S and CL-class since november 03.

Maybe I'm wasted but the COMAND console looks just like the one on the MY2004 W220 I saw at the dealer, I'll be putting up pictures soon (160 pictures) once I get home and I finish touching up on them all.

the enlarged grill somehow makes the car looks softer IMO, but I love everything else about it. especially the new speedo cluster.
