I feel absolutely ridiculous asking this...(spare tire related)
I got a flat the other day and had to throw the spare tire on my C55. I let every last bit of air out of the tire...but for the life of me it doesn't want to fit back in the floor of the trunk.
Am I missing something here?
Is there a special deflating procedure that lets the tire collapse a particular way so it can once again fit back in it's happy home?
Go figure...I've rebuilt engines myself...but can't put a tire back in...

If you're talking about the stock wheel, it's not designed to fit in the hole.
If you're talking about the spare, you either A) still have air in it
or B) you've stretched it out some (so get the hammer out)

I am talking about the spare tire that came right out of there...
Does anyone have a picture of what it should look like collapsed? There is literally no air in there.
What would I be massaging with the hammer? Trying to fold it over a certain way?
