C55 TCU in C32 ?
trough developer mode of my STAR machine i enter in menu coding>SCN Kodierung PKW
And there was a drop menu with a lots of codes. My original code was AH04
Disconect myne and conect the TCU that i take from a diesel model, open the same menu and check the code - AQ08
So i chose from the drop menu AH04, and the car drives like it should be, no limp mode, no out of sequence gear changes!
I want to ask specialists, is this the "coding" of the TCU that needs to be performed in order to get the C55 TCU working in my C32 ?
Or there is other more complicated things?
There was other menues with codes and some other things on German, but i did not massed with htem. Here are a pictures, maybe someone can help with info?
This is where i chose AH04 like was on my original TCU
The rest of the photos are of coding options which i don't know what to do..
Here you can chose from the drop menus if the car is code 030 AMG, if it's European etc, if it got paddle shifter and more
And the C55 TCU will not run in C32 because it's different can bus?
atleast the diff is the same ratio
P.S. do you know a P# of the CLK55 2003 TCU that will work on C32
Regards

I read the entire thread but i found only one guy that got M mode from performance center in affalterbach. Will send him a PM to ask about the details and pricing.
few days ago i found your thread about C55 TCU in your CLK
What obstacles did you meet?
Greetings
Biggest difference is TCU of CLK55 03-04 , paddles works only in M mode , while in CLK55 05-06 & C55 05-06 paddles works on C,S,M + Holding gears on M mode.... I did this update cuz my car is 04 . So It was an easy upgrade in few minutes....

I think nfz is something related to trucks...
Atleast if you wright in google "Merceds nfz" there all only truck images
I enter in this page but there was a message of error, if i remember it was something like that - "you need to change at least one coding..."
These days will post a picture of inside this menu
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
My diff ratio was wrong, now EC TCU is much better when i put AH04. Not perfect, but better.
I saw atleast 200-300 different codes (it took a lot of scroling), i said to myself - there is no chanse for so much diff ratios in cars with EGS52...
What is the performance of the EC unit now? Little bit more revs to shift, at least 1800?

Before = about 50km/h it change 5th gear (feel one gear too big)
Now = 4th gear driving in same speed, and maybe it change lower gear more easily (more responsive)
I installed for testing a CLK55 03 TCU but the shift points was very low, at 1500 rpm.. Need to put it again and chec the code to see if it's different from AH04
Its too bad you cant upload that CLK55 TCU file to me, you need special tools to read it out. I have the tools to compare programs.
