C55 tranny upgrade to 722.9 (7 speed)
Curious to know if anyone has done this upgrade and if so, how did you accomplish the wiring harness to work properly.
Thanks for any help...

It's definitely interesting, didn't know anyone done this, hope someone does..!
i think it can be done if copying everything including harness from (2005-2010 SLK55 AMG),,
C55 sharing the same diff. ratio with SLK55 as well..

none... for now
Easiest/most expensive way- Buy motor/trans/ECU/TCU
Easy/less expensive way- Buy trans/TCU
Either way, you're looking at a custom length driveshaft I'm assuming, unless the SLK/C share a driveshaft somehow.
Side note. Despite being a 2 seat sports car, the SLK was less then 100lbs lighter then the C55(hard top vert will do that). Even with the 7 speed and weighing less, the SLK55 and C55 are rated the same MPG, although I'm sure real world they aren't.

The driveshaft is not a problem, done many and even the axles in my 190 (201) are Spicer driveshafts, the same as in a one ton truck! No problem ever with 450hp going to them.
I'm working with Sun Valley Mercedes for their 722.9 but still need to work the wiring out. Also have a 09 CLS 63 motor lined up so would like the 7 speed for it.
Anyone have any experience doing the swap?
