'02 C32 AMG
19 inch rims, now to slam it
anyone have 19s on thier c32 and also have thier car dropped? just wondering if i just need springs or springs and shocks? pictures would help alot

drop was a bit too much for me.. rubbed for the stuff i used the car for.. it was fun when you are taking clients out to sites and they hear occasional rubbing coming from teh wheels LOL. so i am going with a stiffer more expensive set-up.

heh, i still have to look around for other things, i often have 3 people in the car so if these rub i need something stiffer

if you want to 'slam' your car, youre gonna have to cut the springs. the term 'slam' means to lower A LOT. now if you want to just lower it a little.... you can do things like cupkits or coilovers. or just sport springs.

never heard of a cupkit, but i dont want to *slam* i just want the tires to be tucked nicely with the 19s

Tires tucked behind fender = Springs need to be cut

Most aggressive drop you will get without cutting the springs would be from a H&R Coilover kit, which lowers the car from about 1.4-2.5 inches

the cupkit will only drop your car to 1.4 inches.
