Kleemann vs Renntech vs Evosport

Well topic says the most.

Im intrested in info on differences in these tuningkits.
Mainly in the stage 1 (ecu + pulley).

Is Evosport = Kleemann??

I asked kleemann about intercooler upgrade, and it wasnt anything they could provide.
But I've understod that evosport has intercooler upgrades (or am I wrong?)

Thx for helping me sort things out

Here we go again.

If you do a search there is page after page of information on modifications. The best thing to do is take what you read here, do your own research on the issues raised and make your own informed decision.

No, EVOSport is not Kleeman. They make their own pulley's and have worked with powerchips on tuning the chip.

I think two things you need to consider are reputation and support. I've heard good things about the three vendors you mentioned... I chose Renntech because they are local to me, have a great reputation, and I think they are good guys. I'd be reluctant to modify a $50,000 car with mail order parts through an unaffilated shop.

This is the reason why Kleemann probably will be my choice, there are some german tuners (exept brabus) to, but I havent heard anything about them. (Not on this forum, nor in sweden)

Kleeman seems to have a pretty good reputation in USA to.

If I choose kleemann, I drive down to denmark and their HQ, let them install, and test everything.
While renntech and evosport, I order from usa, and find someone around here to install.

But Im still open for opinions/facts about performance and reliability differences between the different options.

Seems to me like most tuners have about the same power figures on their kits.

And that most ppl have chosen the tuner closes to them, where service etc is availible.

I will probably go for kleemann then, I dont know if they provide the most powerful kit or the best bang for the buck.
But it seem to be a company with a good reputation, and its the only alternative I have where I can leave my car to them for installation and diagnostics.

If there isnt anything bad about them I should know??
(No, Im not trying to start a flame war).

I dont want to complain, but, seems like more than 90% of the answers I got was regarding renntech and evosport only.

Im intressteed in Kleemann VS those two.

Havent found much about kleemann tuning around here, searched and read tons of threads, but most/all of it is regarding evosport or renntech more or less.

Thx

Evosport is an authorized Kleemann dealer, however, they are also developing some of their own products. I know Evosport and the Kleemann prodcuts very well. The Kleemann superchargers absolutely rock. They provide massive power gains and are very well designed and manufactured. If you are thinking about getting one, do not hesitate. You won't be disappointed.

You won't find alot of discussion about Kleemann SCs on the C32 board b/c the C32 already comes with an AMG supercharger. Most of the people with Kleemann SCs on this board are those with MBs that come stock with a NA engine.

I know some about the kleemann superchargers, the mechanic that installed the sc on my GC had been in contact with a 600hp Kleemann ML55.

But Kleemann also makes a ECU upgrade + pulley for the C32.

"KLEEMANN Boost Kit + ECU Upgrade C32"
23.900.- DKK (3 896,62 USD)
About 400 HK / 512 NM (Depending on fuel and other factors)

This is what im intrested in purchasing.

I figure that since kleemann has a good reputation on their merc products, their kit cant be too bad.
But a performance comparisson vs evosport and renntech would be intresting.
