Building tuned inletmanifold! (slow progress)
As i stated in 1st post, slow progress.
this is somewhat in a low priority for me.
I´m installing a dyno in my garage at this point.
I can´t find time as the headporting season is getting closer.
I have also installed a dyno in my basement(motorcycle dyno)
I also ran into probems due to TCU unit made problems.
I need to reprogram it or buy a standalone gearbox ecu.
It reached the torquelimit, and by that limited engine output.
Eguals,, lost power!
But a guy here on the board is developing a standaone for our cars, if that get released this winter i might pick up the ball again.
Rgds.
As always, keep up the amazingwork. Wish I had your skills.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I had with supercharger a 98mm airmeter and capped the signal with piggyback so ecu never saw the high voltage from airmeter.
Then the ecu never reported a high torque to tcu.
Now i want to run std size airmeter as it is always some drawback when modding stuff.
Actually as easy as it takes almost a summer getting the piggy correct and i couldn´t find energy to bare with that, i just wanted to drive
.This summer i just altered injector openingtime with piggy to get correct lambda.
Never altered the airmetervalues.

Ported heads
Ported manifold
Ported 'elbow' at throttlebody
No grid in airmeter
Special airfunnel on airmeter
78mm throttlebody
longtube headers
freeflowing exhaust with 100cell cats
underdrive pulleys
CAI filters with bigger airintake all the way to the grille.
bluetop solenoids
Eurocharged tcu
Modified valvepackage.
Have run 12.23s och 1/4 as best
With 116.9mph trapspeed.
93.8mph on 1/8.
This with N/A engine.

Kleemann K2 (headers+tune) 414 hp and 562 Nm, 0-60 about less than 5 sec.
Bolt-on stuff.
He is a swedish engineering genius, wish he could look at mine some time! :-))
430-435hp would be appropiate for the C55 model??

Was out tested a clk500 with kleemann supercharger this friday.
Dynoed to 504hp.
Man! it was tired

Leaves me wondering....
Is kleemanns dyno a happydyno or is my c55 running really really good.
Or... the CLK lost a lot of hp since dyno?
Not sure the results you saw were so bad, Per kleeman specs here:
http://catalog.kleemann.dk/catalog/c...5-amg-v8-m113/
500 V8 (M113) KKS
500-K1(KKS): Kleemann Kompressor System and a custom made ECU tune. Up to 455 HP and 585 Nm (433 lb-ft) of torque.
500-K2(KKS): K1 + stainless steel tubular exhaust headers and downpipes. Up to 475 HP and 615 Nm (456 lb-ft) of torque.
500-K3(KKS): K2 + super sport camshafts. Up to 500 HP and 655 Nm (485 lb-ft) of torque.
I give you that not all dyno's are as generous as others, and air quality correction factors if not calculated correctly can also skew these number. But at least you have a reference for when you get your dyno up.
Thanks.
